Field Service Technicians (FSTs) provide a wide range of non-emergency police services—both on foot and in vehicles—to support the safety and security of the university community and its facilities.
Their responsibilities include conducting basic investigations, writing incident reports, and assisting with non-violent incidents such as traffic crashes, theft, criminal mischief, and medical calls involving sick or injured individuals. FSTs also play a key role in supporting campus-wide events.
Through proactive patrol and service, Field Service Technicians enhance UFPD’s ability to maintain a safe and secure campus environment.
